Barcelona Coach Hansi Flick Relieved as Key Players Return for Atletico Clash

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has expressed relief as key players return from injury and absence ahead of a pivotal La Liga match against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

Midfielder Pedri made his return from a hamstring injury as a substitute in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Alaves, while Frenkie de Jong is also back in contention after missing the match for family reasons.

“I’m really happy. The players are coming back, maybe we can increase our level. This is the most important thing,” Flick stated in a pre-match press conference, though confirming defender Ronald Araujo remains sidelined.

Despite leading the league table, Flick acknowledged his team’s need for improvement after high-profile losses to Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain this season.
