Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested four suspects over the alleged mob killing of a 21-year-old, Emmanuel Effiong. The suspects murdered the victim and secretly buried his body in a shallow grave, according to Police Public Relations Officer DSP Timfon John .
9. Turaki-led PDP faction vows to appeal court ruling
The Kabiru Turaki-led Interim National Working Committee of the PDP has vowed to appeal the judgment of the Federal High Court in Abuja, which struck out a suit seeking recognition of its leadership.
