Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade have uncovered and exhumed the remains of a body suspected to be that of late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah community in Imo State. The troops operating under Operation UDO KA through Operation EASTERN SANITY II uncovered and exhumed the body on Sunday .
7. Lagos Police intercept truckload of counterfeit drugs
The Police Command in Lagos State says it has intercepted a truckload of suspected counterfeit drugs and apprehended two suspects in connection with the illegal consignment. Commissioner of Police Fatai Tijani disclosed this while addressing journalists on Monday at the Violent Crime Response Unit office in Ijora Olopa .
8. Gunmen kill former councillor in Plateau
Gunmen have reportedly killed a former councillor of Rim Ward in Riyom LGA of Plateau State, Daniel Danjuma Chong, popularly known as ‘Hon. Star,’ in yet another attack on a community in the state. A resident said the attack threw the entire community into panic as residents fled for safety .
