City Boy Movement Welcomes Ex-Minister Nkeiruka Onyejeocha as Partner

The City Boy Movement (CBM), Abia State Chapter, has announced the partnership of Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, as a key ally in its mission to build a more prosperous, inclusive, and forward-thinking state .

In a statement released by the movement, CBM described the former minister as a leader with a wealth of experience in governance, job creation, and national development, noting that her partnership adds real strength to the movement .

“This partnership is not just symbolic—it reflects a shared commitment to empowering people, creating opportunities, and driving sustainable progress across Abia,” the statement read .

Hon. Onyejeocha, who represented Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives before her ministerial appointment, has a long track record of grassroots engagement and advocacy for youth and women empowerment .

The City Boy Movement noted that with leaders who understand the work and are ready to deliver, the future becomes clearer and closer. “Abia is moving. And together, we move it better,” the statement added .

The partnership signals a strategic alignment as the movement continues to expand its political structure ahead of the 2027 elections, focusing on youth mobilization, inclusive governance, and developmental advocacy .
