The Delta State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with an alleged plot to kidnap a pastor and a retired school principal in the state.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the arrest followed intelligence-led operations by security operatives, who acted on credible information to prevent the planned abduction.
CDA News gathered from the report that the suspect was apprehended before the alleged kidnapping could be carried out. Police said investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest other members of the suspected criminal network linked to the plot.
