The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has handed over 1,452 recovered items to Unity Schools as part of efforts to return recovered public assets to their rightful institutions.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the handover ceremony underscores the commission’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the protection of public resources.
According to the EFCC, the recovered items were returned to the affected Unity Schools following due process and in line with the commission’s asset recovery mandate.
The commission noted that the initiative reflects its determination to ensure that recovered public property is restored for the benefit of the institutions and the students they serve.
EFCC officials also reiterated the agency’s resolve to intensify the fight against economic and financial crimes while promoting accountability in the management of public assets across the country.
