Eric Opah Continues Consultation, Thank-You Tour with Visit to Nwadinobi Foundation

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Abia State election, Chief Eric Opah, has continued his consultation and thank-you tour with a visit to the Nwadinobi Foundation, where he was received by its founder, Chief John Nwadinobi, alongside members of the foundation.

According to CDA News Nigeria, the visit formed part of Opah’s engagement with party leaders, stakeholders and influential Abians following his emergence as the APC governorship candidate and the upload of his name to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal.

Speaking during the visit, Opah thanked Chief Nwadinobi and members of the foundation for their warm reception. He said his ambition to govern Abia State is driven by a desire to provide people-oriented leadership focused on measurable performance rather than propaganda.

The APC candidate also expressed concern over the state’s economic situation, citing the high cost of living, youth unemployment and what he described as inadequate governance. He maintained, however, that the visit was not an election campaign, noting that INEC had not yet lifted the restriction on political campaigns.

Responding, Chief Nwadinobi praised the APC’s preparations for the 2027 election and pledged his support for Opah, describing him as a committed leader.

CDA News Nigeria reports that the meeting was attended by APC deputy governorship candidate Dr. Godswill Agu Egbe, Chief Charles Ogbonna, Elder John Nwangborogwu and other party stakeholders.

This report is based on a statement issued by the Eric Opah Campaign Organisation. The views expressed by Chief Opah and other speakers are their own.
