Ex-Governor’s Aide Linked to Kidnap Syndicate Operating in Katsina

Security operatives in Katsina State have reportedly uncovered a disturbing connection between a former governor’s aide and a well-coordinated kidnapping syndicate responsible for a string of abductions across the state.

The suspect, whose identity is being withheld pending formal charges, was said to have served in a senior advisory capacity under a previous administration before allegedly establishing ties with criminal elements involved in the lucrative kidnap-for-ransom trade.

Intelligence sources told CDA News Nigeria that the individual allegedly provided logistical support and insider information that aided the syndicate in identifying and targeting victims, including businessmen and their families.

The State Police Command has confirmed an ongoing investigation, urging the public to remain calm while assuring that all suspects would be brought to justice without delay. The revelations have sparked widespread outrage, with civil society groups demanding swift prosecution and a thorough probe into possible accomplices within government circles.
