I, Rep. Sir Sam Onuigbo, FCIS, FNIM, KJW, warmly extend my heartfelt congratulations to our illustrious son, Rear Admiral Chinonyerem Emmanuel Oji on his well-deserved promotion to the distinguished rank of Rear Admiral in the Nigerian Navy.
Rear Admiral Oji, a proud son of Oboro in Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State, has once again brought immense pride to the great people of Ikwuano in particular, and Abia State in general. His elevation underscores the power of resilience, discipline, and dedicated service—virtues that define this stellar career.
Your recent decoration, performed by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu PhD, CFR, alongside the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, is rightly described as “a reflection of years of dedication, hard work, and exemplary service to our nation.” The Deputy Speaker’s further commendation that your service is “truly inspiring” captures the admiration your journey commands across Nigeria.
As someone committed to the growth and recognition of outstanding sons and daughters of our nation, I celebrate your progression with deep pride. Your promotion strengthens the narrative that our people continue to excel nationally and globally through integrity and dedication.
As you assume this higher command responsibility, I encourage you to continue embodying the finest traditions of the Nigerian Navy. “We look forward to seeing your continued contributions to the nation,” and I join well-wishers across Ikwuano and beyond in praying for divine guidance, strength, and greater accomplishments in your career.
