ABIA – The For Us By Us Movement has announced that its commitment to providing free JAMB registration and free tutorials for prospective university students remains absolute and non-negotiable, despite suspending other philanthropic activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement released by its Media Unit on Tuesday, the movement emphasized that education lies at the core of its mission. The group stated that while other gestures are paused for the election cycle, its flagship educational program will continue uninterrupted due to its “huge success” and the many lives already impacted.
“Considering the huge success recorded in previous years and the many lives already impacted, there is simply no going back on this promise. We remain humble, passionate, and deeply committed to making a meaningful difference, one student at a time,” the statement read.
The movement framed the initiative as a core demonstration of its belief in the dreams of young people, stating, “This is our little way of saying: your dreams matter, and we stand with you.”
Interested and eligible applicants within the region have been directed to contact the program’s Education Coordinator, Hon. Abia Alugwe, on the dedicated phone line: +234 806 816 8237.
The announcement reinforces the movement’s focus on grassroots empowerment through education, distinguishing it as a continuous social intervention amidst the political season.
