FRSC Deploys 1,500 Personnel For Anambra Governorship Election

AWKA – The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed 1,500 personnel and logistics vehicles to support security arrangements for Saturday’s Anambra State governorship election.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed announced the deployment during a briefing in Awka, stating that the personnel will work in synergy with other security agencies to ensure safety and orderliness throughout the electoral process.

The FRSC will enforce movement restrictions into the state from midnight on Friday and ensure the safe transportation of electoral materials.

Anambra Sector Commander Mrs Bridget Asekhauno confirmed that FRSC personnel have participated in all pre-election activities, including INEC training sessions and security meetings, with additional support mobilized from neighbouring states.
