ABUJA – President Bola Tinubu has sworn in two new ministers to the Federal Executive Council during a ceremony at the State House on Thursday.
Bernard Doro from Plateau State replaces Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, while Kingsley Udeh takes over as Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, succeeding Uche Nnaji.
Both appointments follow the resignation of their predecessors, with Doro’s nomination confirmed by the Senate in late October and Udeh receiving confirmation earlier on Thursday.
During the FEC meeting, the council observed a minute of silence for former Minister Solomon Ewuga and former Chief of Staff Abdullahi Mohammed Adangba, two prominent Nigerians who recently passed away.
