The City Boy Movement, Abia State Chapter, has joined millions of Nigerians in extending warm and heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) on his resounding and historic emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential flagbearer for the 2027 general elections, following his landslide victory at the party’s nationwide presidential primary.
In a congratulatory statement issued by the movement’s Abia State Director, Hon. Mayor Lucky Obinwa Igbokwe, the City Boy Movement described President Tinubu’s overwhelming victory — which saw him poll a staggering 10,999,162 votes across all 8,809 wards nationwide — as a powerful and unmistakable validation of the Renewed Hope Agenda and a resounding endorsement of his courageous, bold, and visionary leadership of Nigeria.
The movement commended the President for his unwavering commitment to transforming Nigeria’s economic landscape, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, and social investment, noting that the massive voter turnout at the presidential primary across all 36 states and the FCT was a direct reflection of the confidence Nigerians continue to repose in his leadership and direction.
“We congratulate our President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on this landmark victory. The people have spoken clearly and decisively — they believe in the Renewed Hope Agenda and they are ready to march with you to victory in 2027,” the statement declared.
The City Boy Movement Abia reaffirmed its total commitment to grassroots mobilisation, youth engagement, and community-level sensitisation across all 17 local government areas of Abia State, pledging to be at the forefront of delivering a massive APC victory for President Tinubu in the Southeast in 2027.
The movement further called on all APC members, youths, and well-meaning Nigerians across Abia State to unite behind the President’s vision, work together in one accord, and ensure that the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda are sustained and expanded for the benefit of every Nigerian citizen.
