The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has assured Nigerians that the outcome of the forthcoming Osun State election will accurately reflect the will of the electorate, reaffirming its commitment to conducting a free, fair, and credible poll.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that INEC gave the assurance while reiterating its readiness for the election, stressing that all electoral officials have been directed to adhere strictly to the Electoral Act and the commission’s operational guidelines.
According to the commission, adequate measures have been put in place to ensure transparency throughout the voting, collation, and result declaration processes. INEC also urged political parties, candidates, security agencies, and voters to conduct themselves peacefully and comply with electoral regulations.
The electoral body emphasized that every valid vote would count, expressing confidence that the final results would reflect the genuine choices made by the people of Osun State at the polls.
