The Chief Executive Officer of JX Group, Dr. Chibudom Jephthah Chigozirim, has extended warm felicitations to Nigerians as the nation marks this year’s Democracy Day celebration.
In his June 12 message, Dr. Chigozirim described Democracy Day as a significant reminder of the sacrifices made by patriots who fought for the nation’s democratic freedom and the right of citizens to choose their leaders.
He urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in promoting peace, unity, tolerance, and respect for democratic institutions, stressing that national development can only thrive in an atmosphere of collective responsibility and patriotism.
According to him, despite the challenges facing the country, Nigerians must remain hopeful and committed to building a nation founded on justice, equity, and shared prosperity.
Dr. Chigozirim also called on leaders at all levels to prioritize the welfare of the people and uphold the principles of accountability and good governance.
He wished Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Democracy Day celebration.
