The Chief Executive Officer of JX Group, Dr. Chidubudom Jephetha Chigozirim, has felicitated with fathers across Nigeria and the world on the occasion of International Father’s Day celebration.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Chigozirim praised fathers for their unwavering dedication, sacrifice, and leadership in nurturing families and building stronger communities. He described fatherhood as a cornerstone of societal development, emphasising the vital role fathers play in shaping the next generation.
“Fathers are the pillars of our homes and the silent architects of our future. Their commitment to providing, protecting, and guiding their children deserves recognition and celebration,” he said.
The JX Group CEO called on stakeholders to support policies that empower fathers and strengthen family units, noting that investing in fatherhood yields dividends in national development and social cohesion.
He urged fathers to remain steadfast in their responsibilities, even amid economic challenges, and encouraged younger men to embrace the values of integrity, hard work, and compassion that define true fatherhood.
International Father’s Day, celebrated annually on the third Sunday of June, honours the contributions of fathers and father figures to the lives of their children and society at large.
