The Lagos State Government has announced a new partnership with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to eliminate the sale and use of illegal drugs in government-owned housing estates.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing, Mr. Abdulhafis Toriola, revealed the plan. He commended the NDLEA for its work in fighting drug abuse and rehabilitating users.
Toriola stated that the Sanwo-Olu administration is determined to end illicit drug activities. This effort is part of a larger plan to build healthier communities.
The NDLEA Lagos State Commander, Mr. Abubakar Liman Wali, thanked the ministry for its collaboration. He pledged the agency’s continued commitment to the fight against drug abuse.
