Let Policies Translate to Visible Impact, Tinubu Charges Governors, Officials

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed governors, ministers, and government institutions to ensure that policy decisions yield measurable improvements in the daily lives of Nigerians, warning that the Renewed Hope Agenda will be judged by outcomes, not rhetoric.

Speaking at the closing of the two-day National Economic Council (NEC) Conference in Abuja, the President, represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, emphasised that reform is a continuous process requiring courage, patience, and consistency.

“The decisions we make here must translate into visible improvements in the daily lives of Nigerians: jobs created, businesses supported, roads constructed, schools strengthened, healthcare improved, and opportunities expanded,” Tinubu said.

He cautioned against allowing the gathering to end as another high-level discussion without measurable impact, insisting that his administration remains focused on delivering concrete results despite ongoing economic reforms and rising public expectations.
