JALINGO – The Taraba State Police Command has arrested a married woman, name withheld, for allegedly attacking a minor with a razor blade in the Bali Local Government Area.
The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, left the young victim with deep cuts on the face. Neighbors reported the assault to local authorities after hearing the child’s screams.
Police spokesperson, DSP Usman Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest and stated that the suspect is currently in custody. Preliminary investigations suggest a domestic dispute triggered the violent outburst.
The victim has been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition. The case is under further investigation.
