Ambassador Chinweuba Anyaragbu, a former Senior Special Assistant to ex-Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, has officially returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Anyaragbu, who was the APC chairmanship candidate for Ikwuano Local Government Area in 2016, cited his desire to support the party ahead of the 2027 general elections as the reason for his return. He was formally issued his party card on Saturday.
In a statement, he expressed commitment to the APC’s national vision and declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The move was welcomed by the party’s leadership in his ward. Oboro Ward 1 APC Chairman, Mr. Chike Amaefula, described Anyaragbu’s return as “good news” for the chapter’s growth and grassroots mobilization efforts in Ikwuano.
