Frontline APC House of Representatives aspirant for Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, Mayor Lucky Obinwa Igbokwe, has appealed to his supporters and party faithful to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding following the outcome of the recently concluded APC primaries.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, Mayor Igbokwe expressed deep gratitude to his teeming supporters across the constituency for their overwhelming love, dedication, and unwavering loyalty throughout the primary process, assuring them that the situation remains firmly under control.
Despite the outcome of the primaries, the grassroots politician reaffirmed his strong confidence in the leadership and internal democratic structures of the All Progressives Congress, insisting that the party remains committed to justice, fairness, and due process.
“We remain loyal members of the APC and we believe the party will do the right thing and return our mandate.
I urge all our supporters to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding as we continue to pursue every legitimate and democratic avenue available to us,” Mayor Igbokwe declared.
He firmly advised supporters to refrain from actions or statements capable of heating up the polity, stressing that the Ekwerem Ekwe movement remains guided by the principles of peace, unity, and unwavering respect for democracy.
Mayor Igbokwe also extended heartfelt appreciation to party stakeholders, community leaders, youths, and women across the constituency who stood firmly behind the movement, promising that their sacrifices and commitment will not be in vain.
Political observers in Abia State are watching closely to see the next steps of the Ekwerem Ekwe Movement as the 2027 political season intensifies.
