The Murtala Muhammed Foundation (MMF) has announced plans to hold a series of national and international activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination of former Head of State, General Murtala Ramat Muhammed.
General Muhammed was killed on February 13, 1976, in Ikoyi, Lagos. The Foundation stated that the commemorative events will celebrate his legacy and contributions to Nigeria’s unity and development.
Further details regarding the schedule and nature of the activities are expected to be released by the Foundation in the coming weeks.
