The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has urged Nigerians to disregard misinformation and rely only on verified information from official channels, assuring the public of its commitment to transparency, professionalism, and national security.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force called on citizens to avoid spreading unverified reports capable of causing unnecessary panic or undermining ongoing military operations.
According to the spokesperson, false information circulating on social media and other platforms can hinder security efforts and create confusion among the public. He stressed that the NAF remains committed to protecting the country’s territorial integrity and supporting efforts to combat insecurity across Nigeria.
The Air Force further encouraged Nigerians to verify information through official NAF statements and other credible government sources before sharing it. The spokesperson noted that public cooperation and responsible use of information are essential to the success of security operations.

The military has reiterated its resolve to continue working with other security agencies to safeguard lives and property while urging citizens to remain vigilant and support lawful efforts to enhance national security.
