ABUJA — Nollywood actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has officially launched a new faith-based initiative, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), in Abuja, marking a significant step in her spiritual journey.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the 41-year-old actress made the announcement on Sunday through her Instagram page, describing NWPT as an interdenominational altar and “global movement of consecrated believers called to experience the raw power, purity, and presence of God” . The movement draws its inspiration from Mark 2:22, which states: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins” .
Dikeh clarified that the initiative is not a conventional church but an intense gathering of believers dedicated to prayer, revival, healing, deliverance, and spiritual transformation . “This is not a church; it is an intense gathering of those consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God,” she stated .
According to the announcement, NWPT will hold weekly fellowship meetings every Friday at 6:00 pm at Omini Grand Hotel, formerly Alexis Hotel, located upstairs by Masalachi Junction in Jabi, Abuja .
The launch follows months of Dikeh’s growing involvement in Christian activities, including participation in Pastor Jerry Eze’s NSPPD community. In December 2025, she shared a public testimony at Streams of Joy International Church, where she spoke about overcoming struggles with smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation, and anger issues .
