Delta APC Leaders Close Ranks Ahead of 2027
In a major step toward reconciliation, former Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege attended a stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, convened by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
This was Omo-Agege’s first appearance at such a gathering since Oborevwori defected from the PDP to the APC nine months ago and assumed leadership of the party in the state. The meeting, held at the Government House in Asaba, focused on unity, e-registration, and preparation for upcoming congresses.
Also present were former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo, and APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka.
In his remarks, Omo-Agege expressed readiness to work with Governor Oborevwori, describing him as the party’s leader in the state, while highlighting his own large grassroots support base.
