The Ondo State Police Command has redeployed the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Enu-Owa Division for unprofessional conduct.
The action follows a viral video involving social media influencer, Adefolarin Ayomiposi, popularly known as Mandykiss.
The video showed Mandykiss recording and taking photographs of suspects she brought to the station for alleged cyberbullying.
Police Commissioner Adebowale Lawal called this a “clear lapse in supervisory responsibility.” He stated that photographing suspects in custody violates ethical standards and the principle of “presumption of innocence.”
The Commissioner reaffirmed his commitment to discipline and accountability within the command.
