…GLOBE Legislators President Praises Methodist Church Leader, Prays for Wisdom and Grace
The President of GLOBE Legislators International, Rt. Hon. Sir Samuel I. Onuigbo, has congratulated Dr. Chidi Uwanna on his recent election as the Lay President of Ndoro Diocese, Methodist Church Nigeria.
CDA News Nigeria reports that Onuigbo conveyed the congratulatory message in a letter dated September 21, 2026, addressed to Dr. Uwanna at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, Abia State.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the former lawmaker described the election as “a significant honour and, more importantly, a sacred responsibility entrusted to you by the Church and the people of God in recognition of your capacity, commitment and readiness to contribute to the service and growth of the Church.”
Onuigbo prayed that Almighty God would grant Dr. Uwanna the wisdom, grace, strength, and discernment required to discharge the responsibilities of the office with humility, integrity, and dedication.
“May God guide your decisions, strengthen your faith, and grant you the grace to serve meritoriously and faithfully, always remaining true to the calling and responsibilities entrusted to you,” he said.
The GLOBE Legislators President wished Dr. Uwanna a successful, impactful, and God-honouring tenure.
