ILESA, Osun State – Residents and traditional rulers in Ilesa have commended Governor Ademola Adeleke’s infrastructure initiative, stating the N250 billion project is modernizing the community while simultaneously tackling youth thuggery and unemployment.
Community leaders reported that the comprehensive road construction and public works program has transformed previously underdeveloped areas, with traditional ruler Oba Samson Aderibigbe describing Adeleke as “a dependable son of the soil who has brought long-awaited progress.”
Local residents highlighted additional benefits beyond improved infrastructure, noting that the projects have engaged former street youths in meaningful work, significantly reducing incidents of thuggery and improving public safety. The developments have also enhanced agricultural productivity and boosted commercial activities in the revitalized areas.
