The Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, **Peter Obi**, has called on President **Bola Ahmed Tinubu** to resign, alleging widespread corruption under the current **All Progressives Congress (APC)** administration.
According to information gathered by CDA News Nigeria, Obi accused the Federal Government of failing to address corruption effectively, arguing that the country has witnessed growing concerns over accountability and transparency since the APC assumed office.
The former Anambra State governor maintained that the alleged level of corruption has contributed to Nigeria’s economic challenges and declining public confidence in government institutions. He insisted that the administration should be held accountable for its stewardship.
Obi’s remarks have sparked fresh political debate, with supporters and critics expressing differing views on his call for the President to step down. The Presidency is yet to issue an official response to the latest comments.
The development comes amid continued discussions on governance, economic reforms and anti-corruption efforts in Nigeria.
