Police Arrest 150 Suspects, Recover 100 Motorcycles, Firearms in Lagos Raid

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 150 suspects and recovered 100 unregistered motorcycles, firearms, suspected stolen items and illicit drugs during a coordinated operation targeting criminal hideouts across parts of the state.

CDA News Nigeria reports that the operation was conducted under the command’s ongoing Operation KO S’AYE, focusing on criminal hideouts at Boolar, Okofilling Bus Stop, Igando, and other identified black spots within the Area M, Idimu axis.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, disclosed the development in a statement issued on Monday.

According to Adebisi, the operation was part of the command’s sustained efforts to rid Lagos communities of criminal elements and improve public safety. The raid led to the arrest of 150 suspects, while security operatives recovered 100 unregistered motorcycles, firearms, suspected stolen property, and illicit drugs.

CDA News Nigeria gathered that the suspects will be thoroughly screened, while those found culpable will be prosecuted in accordance with the law. The police also reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining intelligence-led operations aimed at ensuring the safety of residents across the state.

The command urged members of the public to continue providing credible information to support the fight against crime and maintain security in Lagos.
