The Rivers State Police Command has arrested **five suspected members of a kidnapping syndicate** during an intelligence-led operation aimed at tackling violent crime in the state.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the operation led to the dismantling of the alleged criminal network, which police believe was involved in kidnapping activities in parts of Rivers State.
CDA News gathered from the report that the suspects were apprehended following credible intelligence and coordinated security operations. Police said investigations are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the syndicate’s activities and to identify other fleeing members of the group.
