The Rivers State Police Command has announced the appointment of Agabe Blessing Kaborlo as its new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
The appointment was approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, according to an official statement released by the Command.
ASP Kaborlo, an indigene of Rivers State from Ogoni in Tai Local Government Area, was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force in 2023 after completing a five-year training programme at the Nigeria Police Academy, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Rivers State University.
Her professional development includes specialized training in combat operations and counter-terrorism at the Police Mobile Force Training School in Nasarawa State, as well as citizenship and leadership training in Jos.
Throughout her career, Kaborlo has served in several capacities, including postings at the Divisional Police Station, Okporo, the Human Rights Section (DFA), and as Second-in-Command of the Police Public Relations Office in Rivers State. Until her recent appointment, she held the latter position.
The Command assured residents of continued transparency, effective communication, and strengthened police-community relations under her leadership.
Members of the public and the media can reach the new PPRO through official communication channels provided by the Command.
