AWKA, NIGERIA – Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has committed his second term in office to God, appealing to residents for continued support as he seeks to consolidate on the gains of his first tenure.
Speaking during a thanksgiving service at the Governor’s Lodge in Awka over the weekend, Soludo attributed his electoral victory and the progress recorded so far to divine intervention. He described the upcoming second term as an opportunity to deepen his administration’s transformative agenda across critical sectors.
“This mandate is not about me; it is a covenant with God and the good people of Anambra. I return it to the Almighty and ask for your prayers and partnership,” Soludo stated.
The governor assured that his administration would intensify efforts in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic revitalization. He called on political stakeholders and citizens to unite in moving the state forward, irrespective of party affiliations.
Religious and traditional leaders present at the event pledged their support, praising Soludo’s performance and urging him to remain focused on delivering democratic dividends.
