2027: ADC Vows to Rescue Nigeria from the Abyss, Fires Back at Tinubu

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has fired back at President Bola Tinubu, boldly declaring that the party is fully prepared to rescue Nigeria from the abyss ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The opposition party, in a strong-worded statement, challenged the Tinubu administration’s economic and governance record, describing the current state of the nation as a deepening crisis that demands urgent political change at the highest level.

ADC accused the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government of failing ordinary Nigerians on multiple fronts, citing soaring inflation, widespread poverty, insecurity, and the rising cost of living as evidence of an administration that has lost touch with the people.

The party expressed confidence that Nigerians are ready for a credible alternative and pledged to offer purposeful, people-centred leadership capable of reversing the country’s fortunes before and after 2027.

ADC further called on Nigerians across all regions, ethnic groups, and religious divides to unite under a common vision of national rescue, urging citizens not to surrender their future to what it described as a recycling of failed leadership.

The party’s declaration signals a hardening of opposition ranks as the 2027 electoral season begins to take shape, with several political parties and figures positioning themselves against the Tinubu-led administration.
President Tinubu’s camp is yet to formally respond to ADC’s latest statement.
