Hon. Emeka Atuma, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, has pledged massive grassroots mobilisation and electoral support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that Atuma pledged while speaking on behalf of other senatorial candidates at the inauguration of the Abia State Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Umuahia.
He expressed confidence that Abia Central would deliver an overwhelming number of votes for the President, predicting that Tinubu would secure victory in the district and across Abia State by 12 noon on election day.
Atuma described President Tinubu as a courageous and decisive leader who has demonstrated the political will to make difficult decisions in the national interest. He specifically cited the removal of the fuel subsidy, Federal Government interventions in Abia State, and the refund of funds expended by the state on federal road projects as key achievements justifying another term.
Furthermore, Atuma commended the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, for his sustained efforts in strengthening party unity in Abia State. He noted that a united APC would be better positioned to achieve its electoral objectives in 2027.
He urged party members and stakeholders to intensify grassroots mobilisation and work collectively towards delivering victory for President Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
