APC Dismisses Fake News on 2027 Nomination Form Prices

ABUJA, NIGERIA – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as fake a report circulating in the media regarding a purported price list for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the report as false and misleading, clarifying that no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the upcoming elections.

“The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE, and did not emanate from the Party. To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” Morka stated.

The party urged its members, the media, and the general public to disregard the report in its entirety.

The clarification comes hours after a list purporting to show form prices—including N200 million for presidential aspirants and N150 million for governorship aspirants—circulated widely on social media and some news platforms.

The APC reaffirmed that any official announcement regarding nomination forms would be communicated through its verified channels.
