…Vows Millions of Votes for Tinubu, Atuma, Orji, Ihuka, Says Zone Must Return to Central Government
The Akajimba Movement has declared that Nigeria and Abia Central are ready for quality leadership and effective representation under the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
CDA News Nigeria reports that the movement, in a statement, identified President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, and Hon. Uzo Ihuka as the candidates with the capacity, quality, experience, and heart for the people.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the group said Abia Central will rejoice once the zone returns to the government at the centre, arguing that the massive development attracted to Abia North through lawmakers attached to President Tinubu will be enjoyed by Ndi Abia Central once voters elect all APC candidates of the National Assembly in 2027.
The movement vowed to mobilise millions of voters for the APC, declaring that Abia Central will no longer remain in what it described as “political Egypt.” It said the time for a wave is gone because all those representing the zone have failed the people.
“Abia Central needs a breath of fresh air and development at this time. We are standing on the advice of late M.I. Okpara: this is the time to return to the central government for us to benefit from infrastructure,” the statement read.
The group stated that some opposition leaders run to the President to beg for concessions while acting against the people both day and night. It cited projects attracted by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, describing them as dividends rooted in the APC-led central government. Such benefits, it noted, include federal employment, road construction, school rehabilitation, hospitals, and the attraction of federal institutions.
