In a significant political gathering, former Abia State governors, federal and state lawmakers, and top stakeholders have thrown their weight behind the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and resolved to work for the victory of all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
The strategic meeting, convened by former governors of the state, brought together experienced leaders including former Governor Senator Theodore Orji, the Minister of State for Labour, Dr. Nkeiru Onyejeocha, and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, among others.
After extensive deliberations, the forum unanimously endorsed Tinubu’s re-election and committed to ensuring APC’s success at all electoral levels. The leaders also critically assessed governance in Abia State, exchanging candid views aimed at advancing the state’s progress.
“As leaders bound by experience and duty, we are united in purpose to advance the progress, unity, and prosperity of Abia State and Nigeria,” a statement from the forum noted.
