ADC David Mark’s Daughter Backs Tinubu’s Re-election

ABUJA, NIGERIA – Hon. Blessing Onuh, a member of the House of Representatives and daughter of African Democratic Congress (ADC) National Chairman, Senator David Mark, has taken a frontline role in supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, joining the leadership of a pro-Tinubu campaign organization.

The move comes at a politically delicate moment, as the ADC is currently embroiled in a leadership crisis, with factions contesting the party’s national structure. Onuh’s open alignment with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign is likely to stir tensions within the opposition party, where her father leads one faction.

Onuh, who represents Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency in Benue State, has been a vocal advocate for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, citing Tinubu’s developmental strides as reasons for her support.

“I believe in the vision of President Tinubu for Nigeria. His leadership has brought tangible progress, and I am proud to support his re-election,” Onuh stated.

The ADC leadership has yet to officially respond to her declaration. Political observers note that her position could signal deeper realignments within the opposition as the 2027 elections approach.
