An APC Cheitain in Ikwuano /Umuahia Comrade Anyaragbu Chinweuba has issued a public challenge to Hon. Obi Aguocha, demanding the Labour Party lawmaker produce verifiable evidence to back his claim of facilitating 22,000 jobs for constituents.
In a statement Saturday, Anyaragbu insisted Aguocha publish names, employer records, or any documentation supporting the figure, warning that unsubstantiated claims “do not survive scrutiny in the age of the internet.” He called on Aguocha to either present the data or issue a public apology to constituents.
The challenge comes as Anyaragbu drew comparisons with Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, the APC candidate and former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, whom he said has consistently published documented project records and legislative scorecards throughout his tenure.
“Leadership is about verifiable service, not slogans,” Anyaragbu said, urging Aguocha to match transparency with transparency ahead of 2027.
