The screening, which runs through Sunday, May 10, 2026, marks a critical step in the party’s preparations for its primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections — one of the most consequential electoral seasons in Nigeria’s democratic history.

The APC has urged all aspirants to attend the screening exercise punctually and to come equipped with all required documents, credentials, and supporting materials necessary for a smooth and successful screening process.

The exercise is being closely monitored by party officials, political observers, and the general public, as the calibre and composition of APC’s candidates will play a decisive role in shaping the party’s fortunes in the 2027 National Assembly elections.
