The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ikwuano State House of Assembly, Hon. Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu, has felicitated with fathers on the occasion of International Father’s Day celebration.
In a statement on Sunday, Ishionwu joined millions across the world to celebrate fathers, fathers-to-be, guardians, and every man who carries the responsibility of building strong families and a better society.
“Fatherhood is not just about being a parent; it is about sacrifice, leadership, protection, guidance, and unconditional love,” he said. “Every day, fathers work tirelessly to provide for their families, nurture their children, and inspire future generations with values of integrity, hard work, and discipline.”
Ishionwu appreciated all fathers in Ikwuano and beyond for their immeasurable contributions to homes, communities, and the nation. He celebrated fathers who wake up determined to give their families a better future, mentors who support the younger generation, and elderly fathers whose counsel remains invaluable.
He urged continued upholding of love, unity, peace, and responsibility to make families and communities thrive. “May God bless every father with good health, long life, wisdom, strength, and prosperity,” he prayed.
On behalf of himself, his family, and supporters, Ishionwu wished all fathers a joyful and fulfilling celebration.
Ishionwu is contesting for the Ikwuano State House of Assembly seat under the APC, with the campaign slogan “Building a Better Future Together.”
