APC Sets Up 73-Member Committee for 2026 National Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has established a Central Coordination Committee to prepare for its 2026 National Convention.

In a statement by National Secretary Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, the party announced that Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma will chair the committee, with Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as Vice Chairman and Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni as Secretary.

The 73-member committee includes Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and several serving governors from states including Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, Rivers, Plateau, and Borno.

The APC stated that details regarding the committee’s inauguration and convention-related activities will be announced in due course.
