Democracy Day: Terror Financiers Will Pay Dearly, Tinubu Vows

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has warned that terrorists and those funding their activities will face the full weight of the law, declaring that terror financiers in Nigeria “will pay dearly” for their actions.

Speaking during his Democracy Day address, the President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to tackling insecurity and safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians.

Tinubu stated that security agencies have intensified efforts to dismantle criminal networks, disrupt terrorist operations, and identify individuals providing financial support to insurgent groups and other violent organizations.

According to the President, the Federal Government remains determined to restore peace across the country and ensure that those responsible for sponsoring violence are brought to justice.

He also highlighted the importance of national unity, democratic governance, and citizen participation in building a safer and more prosperous Nigeria.

The President assured Nigerians that his administration would continue implementing policies aimed at strengthening security, promoting economic growth, and advancing the nation’s democratic development.
