The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested eight suspects in connection with armed robbery and drug-related offences during a series of operations aimed at combating criminal activities in the state.
According to the police, the suspects were apprehended following intelligence-led raids targeting criminal hideouts and areas notorious for illicit drug activities.
Security operatives reportedly recovered suspected hard drugs and other items believed to be linked to the criminal acts during the operation.
The Command reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and property, warning that it would sustain its crackdown on armed robbers, drug dealers, and other criminal elements threatening public peace.
Residents were also urged to support law enforcement agencies by providing credible information that could assist in preventing crime and ensuring the prosecution of offenders.
The arrests are part of broader efforts by the police to strengthen security and maintain law and order across Adamawa State.
