The Abia State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Jerry Awa, has described the party’s Abia Central senatorial candidate, Emeka Atuma, as the answer for effective representation, quality leadership, and giant infrastructural development for the people of the district.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that Awa made the endorsement in a statement highlighting Atuma’s credentials as a former federal lawmaker, insisting his prior legislative experience positions him to deliver more meaningfully for Abia Central at the National Assembly come 2027.
According to Awa, Abia Central deserves a representative capable of translating legislative presence into tangible development, arguing that Atuma’s track record and grassroots engagement across the senatorial zone set him apart from other contenders in the race.
He described Atuma’s candidacy as one built on substance rather than mere political rhetoric, expressing confidence that the youth of Abia State would rally behind him ahead of the 2027 general election.
Awa called on APC members and residents of Abia Central to unite behind Atuma’s candidacy, stressing that his emergence at the Senate would translate into stronger federal presence, improved infrastructure and better opportunities for the people of the district.
CDA News Nigeria will continue publishing perspectives on the 2027 Abia Central senatorial race.
