A delegation of former elected councillors from Ikwuano Local Government Area has paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Hyacinth Osinachi Nwaka to discuss political developments and strengthen collaboration ahead of the 2027 general election.
CDA News Nigeria gathered that the meeting focused on strategies for mobilising support for the administration of the Abia State Governor in the 2027 elections, as well as efforts to consolidate the group’s political structure across Ikwuano.
The former councillors also used the visit to brief Hon. Nwaka on the progress made by their organisation, including the adoption of its structure by the Executive Government. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting policies and programmes aimed at promoting development and political stability in the state.
Responding, Hon. Hyacinth Osinachi Nwaka appreciated the delegation for the visit and commended their commitment to grassroots mobilisation and political engagement. He encouraged them to remain united and continue working towards the advancement of their shared objectives.
