The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has announced it will withdraw the certificates of any graduate found culpable of misconduct.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Adenike Oladiji issued the warning during the university’s 36th convocation ceremony, where 2,747 students graduated. She emphasized that character is essential for sustaining success, stating, “Skills can take you to the top, but you require character to remain there.”
The university graduated 240 First Class students, with Aduragbemi Akindunbi from Civil Engineering emerging as the best graduating student with a CGPA of 4.98.
