Gov. Otti Reaffirms Pledge to Serve Abians, Receives Community Praise

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to serving the people of the state, stating his administration will continue to work in fulfillment of his campaign promises.

The Governor made the declaration while receiving a delegation of the Imo community residing in Abia State, led by Commissioner Dr. G.C. Duru, at the Government House in Umuahia. Governor Otti thanked the group for acknowledging what he described as the “modest achievements” made to change the story of Abia.

The visiting delegation praised the Governor for his transformative impact, specifically noting improvements to business environments, livelihoods, and connectivity in Aba and Umuahia. The Chairman of the Imo Cultural Association, Okenze James Odocha, stated that Governor Otti has “performed beyond expectations” and redefined governance across all sectors, particularly highlighting landmark achievements in healthcare and ongoing road expansion projects.

The group also sought approval for a future date to formally honor the Governor and his wife. Governor Otti assured them his team would work with them to schedule the event.
