The organizers of the Ikwuano Inter Quiz Competition have issued a public appeal for support ahead of its second edition, scheduled for February 20, 2026.
In a statement titled “Our Hope!!!”, the administrators called on the people of Ikwuano (“Umu Ikwuano”) to back the initiative, which aims to give the local education system a “competitive facelift.” They expressed gratitude to their regular and prospective sponsors, both within Nigeria and in the diaspora.
The message highlighted several “dependable foundations” as key supporters, including the Ifeanyi Uke Foundation, Nzeribe Okegbue Foundation, the For Us by Us Movement, the Darlington Onyekacha Foundation, and the Innocent Eleogu Care Foundation.
The organizers extended their appeal to all “well-meaning Ikwuano Elites,” stating they still depend on community partnership and support to ensure the success of the educational event.
